Bushmills Courthouse
Contractor: Martin and Hamilton
Description
Haughey Electrical were responsible for the electrical installation work involved in the restoration of the derelict Victorian Grade B1 listed Old Courthouse in Bushmills. This included a three-storey rear extension, transforming the historic courthouse into a unique, state-of-the-art shared creative hub.
Spanning 15,600 square feet, the new arts and cultural hub features 15 versatile areas for creating, marketing, educating, and collaboration. Key facilities include a messy studio, café, meeting and event spaces, retail areas, and a new base for The Designerie, a local arts and crafts social enterprise.
Our expertise helped to have the project awarded the BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.
